I Can’t Drive 55

You are remembered for the rules you break. ~ Douglas MacArthur Rules, rules, rules! For everything you do in life, there are always rules… and sometimes the “rule book” seems to be much bigger than the actual activity you want to do.   Who makes the rules? Who enforces the rules? And then what happens if you break the rules? Ug! My oldest daughter is learning how to drive, and it is a very nerve-wracking experience to say the least.  She is very much like any other excited teenager who is getting comfortable with power, control, and impending independence… she is ready to go at...

Help

Learn to see less of yourself and more of others; Let others see God in your actions. In a world full of busy-ness, we tend to take the path of least resistance.  We do what is easy, because there are so many things we need to do.  What we often forget in all of this is that anything of value requires hard work, patience, and commitment. Now saying that does not make it easier to reconcile; we are human and we want what we want and we want it NOW.  However, there are timing issues, relational issues and moral issues involved with every decision we make.  And when we only take ourselves...
