The World Gone Mad is a Tax-Deductible 501 C3 Non-Profit Charitable organization which evangelizes and disciples teenagers and adults utilizing the internet, various forms of media including, but not limited to podcasting, video, and video illustrations.  We also partner with a number of church and parachurch organizations to help further the kingdom of God.

We have viewers and listeners to the World Gone Mad podcast in more than 10 different countries around the world with an average download of 630/podcast and more than 26 thousand downloads for the calendar year 2009

But when I do find a blog topic I like, I do comment because I genuinely like what has been said or the information was helpful to me.    Howdy, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can advise? I get so much lately it’s driving me mad so any assistance is very much appreciated.

   Greetings, and thanks for stopping by. I am sorry that I may not be of much help here. It seems that we too have been getting a lot of spam lately. I might suggest changing the title of “Page” or “Post” to which the majority of your spammers are leaving their comments. If it is automated, as i presume many spammers are, then they will no longer be able to post spam to your post or page because you will have changed the name. While I think spammers possess a great deal of knowledge to computers and the like, I certainly think they could put their knowledge to better use than destroying that into which others put so much energy and time.
